We have recently teamed up with the OneWomanWorld initiative
as part of the Monday classes (10-11am). The OneWomanWorld initiative has a strong
focus on new mums, mums with young children and ladies who would like to train
with other ladies in a relaxed environment.
As part of the Eagles
Fitness set-up, the Monday classes are open to both male and female clients
from OneWomanWorld. Parents with young children are welcome to come along with
their children who remain the responsibility of the parents.

Lifestyle &
Nutrition 101 – “just another hassle?”
We will be the first
to say, all the benefits of your training will not be experienced if
it is not accompanied with a sensible outlook on life, adopting some
lifestyle changes and the evergreen sensible eating habits.
When you think of health
and fitness, have you asked “what’s it all about" and "at what cost?”
The jury is out as to whether a great quality of life means counting
calories every moment of each day, jumping on scales every day (excluding
sport specific requirements e.g. a boxer), or looking in the mirror
every moment possible with a critical gaze of dissatisfaction! Is this
good quality of life? I don’t think so!
Living a sensible lifestyle
and eating well helps to contribute significantly to experiencing the
new lease of life your training ought to give you. A sensible lifestyle
will include getting adequate rest; enjoying your training, appreciating
the good that you have rather than what you wish you had etc.
Everyday life comes
with its share of challenges. Don’t throw health and fitness on the
wrong side of the equation. Your newfound fitness and improved health
are your tools to sail through the challenges of each new day. I encourage
you to enjoy your training, focus on your own goals and celebrate yourself
for every milestone achieved while you train and live right, you deserve
it.
